So i'm thinking..

What is my personality? Where does it fit in? Is it truly mine?

This is what I came up with as an answer to my question.

We are effectively layer on top of layer on top of layer. A person is the equivalent of an onion and the deepest layers of the onion is my personality. I was born with it. I am currently in the process of adding another layer to my onion.. "nurse".

At the very core of the onion, is that which we all actually are. Awareness of experience. My personality is my own, just as my nose is my own, my face is my own and my mental capabilities is my own.

But I experience, just as you do. That is the one thing we all share.

The universe itself takes share in that experiencing. It is what makes us one. When I experience, the universe experiences. We have never had privacy of thought at all.

It's just.. the universe doesnt go telling on you, because it is you. Tell who?

Life is an experience.
