The Common Denominator
The common denominator for everything I have ever learned about, thought about, seen, heard, felt, tasted or smelled is me.
Without me, there would be no knowledge of wars. There would be no sensation of the wind on my skin. There would be no feeling of friendship, nor love. There would be no coffee in the morning, no lazy mornings in bed. Without me, there would be no thing at all. When I was born into the world, the world was born into me. Each and every one of us can say this, and be truthful.
The answer to the age old question "Who am I?" is simply this.. I am. And the Father.. I am not he, but he is in me. We are all the children of the Most High, the Great "I Am".
Perhaps this is what Jesus knew. Perhaps he was as frustrated and saddened by the cruelty and evil we visit upon each other as I am and decided to speak.
Love your neighbor as yourself. Love God with all your heart, mind and soul.
Do you realize how loved you are ? How valuable you are ?
When Jesus was asked if he was the Son of God his reply was "I am". In the answer, was both confirmation and proof.
