Who would you ask for forgiveness?
Who would you ask for forgiveness? The one who shares your sins, or the one who himself is blameless and therefore expect you also to be blameless? Who is the most likely to forgive?
You are all of the worlds darkness. And you are all of its light. In accepting your inner devil, you become capable of true radical compassion. True forgiveness. If you believe yourself lilywhite and pure, you cannot forgive.
I am a rapist who has not raped.
I am a killer who has not killed.
I am a war-criminal who has fought no wars.
I am a dictator who has no power.
I am all of humanity.
All of it.
In this small vessel, is the entirety of it.
And because I know this, I am capable of radical forgiveness and compassion. There is none I consider worse than me, nor anyone I consider better. I know myself to be Satan himself. But I also know myself to be God. In this small human vessel. I know you also, to be that.
The question is: Do you know? How much of your own darkness can you face before resorting to denial to protect yourself?
Again I am wondering about Jesus. When he "became the sins of the world", did he not do what I just did?
To wholly accept himself and therefore also to become capable of unconditional love?
