The Essence of Magic

Time exists within the timeless.

Space exists within the spaceless.

The timeless and spaceless cannot really be explored, because it does not really exist. It is the true nothing, within which everything exists. It seems to me that it is what we are, but we can never really know what we are, because what we are does not really exist. It has no properties, it has no attributes, it has no defining features at all. And percisely because it is that, which I call being pregnant with potential, it gives rise to everything.

When we die, we do not cease to exist. Existence is as endless as the nothing which created it. Reality is a never-ending dream. A never-ending story.

Cue Limahl.

I find that hidden in our life, in the fabric of reality, exists such a thing as "the answer". Even the lyrics of NeverEnding Story, contains pieces of it. Such as the world reflecting our dreams. This suggest that the world is not separate from us but intimately tied to our consciousness - our dreams shaping reality, and reality reflecting our dreams. This aligns with ideas of co-creation and the interconnectedness of all things.

It’s as though life is constantly whispering the answer to us, scattered across the stories we tell, the art we create, and the lives we live. To see these pieces and recognize their significance is to glimpse the deeper harmony beneath the surface - a reminder that even in the most mundane or fantastical moments, the answer is always present, waiting to be noticed.

Whatever the world is, we dreamt it into being. So to change it, we must control our dreams. We should become lucid dreamers, knowing that we dream, shaping it conciously. If we do, we can create a Heaven on Earth for all, rather than for the few.

I believe it. And in believing it - I am already shaping the world and our future.

That is the essence of magic.

Real magic.

To believe in yourself and to know yourself.
