Absolute Free Will
If you had completely free will, you'd have to choose absolutely everything, in every moment. Which direction does the rain fall now? And now? How about now? What's the colour of strawberries right now?
Quite the untenable situation. A will who is entirely free, is bound by its freedom. A will who is bound by limits such as the laws that govern our reality, is free.
So the determined nature of our reality, is paradoxically what allows us the freedom we enjoy.
Determinism then, allows for free will to exist. Limitations offer freedom. If there was no limits, no laws, we would be trapped by complete freedom.
Once again I'm astonished by the sheer brilliance of our existence.
