Nothing to Forgive

“Every man is not only responsible for what he does but what everyone else does.” - Fyodor Dostoevsky

Fyodor Dostoevsky was a Russian novelist, short story writer, essayist and journalist. Numerous literary critics regard him as one of the greatest novelists in all of world literature, as many of his works are considered highly influential masterpieces.

When Jesus "took on the sins of the world", I believe he did so by realizing exactly what Dostoevsky understood. That the sins of the world, was his sins. But also, that his sins, was the world's sins.

Each of us can say the same. Must say the same, if we are honest and truthful with ourselves. What I do, the universe does. What the universe does, I do. The universe "does" you, as much as it "does" a supernova, or a black hole. There is no difference at all.

My sins is the worlds sin. The worlds sins is my sin. It really becomes obvious when one understands the oneness of reality, and each of us can say the same as Jesus did.

But furthermore, and I perhaps Dostoevsky did not understand this fully: "Sins" do not exist, they are a concept. In this way Jesus could live a life free of sin. From realizing that there are no sins at all.

And therein is the forgiveness, or "salvation" if you want.

There is nothing to forgive.
