The Question is the Answer
Certainty cannot exist without doubt. I've had my fair share of doubt. The whole idea about the "antichrist" and "deception" outlined in Bible has turned me into someone who hardly ever accept anything as truth. Yet, despite all my doubt, I have nevertheless arrived at a place where I am somewhat certain.
The thing is.. the question is the answer. When you ask the question, you are certain to arrive at the answer. Lets consider a timeless setting. In timelessness, there exists no delay between question and answer. You ask something, and the answer is in your mind immediately. You desire something, and it is instantly available. In this world of ours, where there is time, there is delay between question and answer. There is delay between desire and fulfilment. But the two are not two, they are one.
Persist in asking, and you shall know. persist in doubting, and you shall be certain.
Knock, and the door shall be opened. Seek, and you shall find.
Seeking is finding. Knocking is the opening of the door.
Doubt is not a negative feeling. It is on the contrary, the path to certainty. Embrace your doubt. It is essential. My own fear of "being the antichrist" has in a sense shaped my journey profoundly. It is almost as if it was intentionally placed in the Bible, exactly to inspire this kind of uncertainty and apprehension of spiritual teachings.
If time is an illusion, then the proper way to think about these things are as if there was no time at all. Even in this world of ours, where the persistent illusion of time exists. The beginning of the journey, even in this temporal world of ours, is the completion of the journey. When one recognises this, it changes everything.
It can be noted that space functions in the same way. The moment you decide to go on a trip, you are already in a certain sense, at your destination.
Granted in this place, we have to cover the distance. But in "eternity" there is no time and similarly there is no space. So one could in theory instantly go anywhere and instantly have anything.
As above, so below.
