I think, that before we became aware of Good and Evil there was still good and evil, we only did not recognise it as such. It was a unity, a wholeness, a perfection - a state of innocence - but.. there was still good and evil.

Victims however would not recognise the evil done to them, and the evil-doer would not recognise that they were doing evil. Whoever then knew good and evil, would have been the master - experiencing a deeper reality than the "sheep" who did not understand. Imagine being raped, and not seeing it as an evil act. Imagine being a rapist, and not seeing it as evil. Imagine then someone - a God perhaps - an alien species maybe - who knew the difference. This God would enjoy this situation, because it could indulge in all kinds of perversions and it would not be perceived as perversion.

Imagine for a second a computer game, wherein the NPCs were not conscious, but one player was conscious. Full Dive VR if you will. Imagine then, that the NPCs suddenly became conscious and self-aware. No longer would they accept being abused because they knew it as abuse. Imagine your playing Sims, and enjoyed murdering some sims now and then. No harm done right.. but if the sims were conscious living beings who were aware of the murdering being evil.. now that's something else.

Why did Lucifer rebel against God ? I don't know. Just thoughts on my mind.

Non duality without an awareness of duality is not a good situation. It is similar to the state of animals on this planet today, whom we use and abuse for our own purposes. A state of innocence. They are not aware of good and evil, as we are. That means that we have some responsibilities towards them.

We should be guardians, protectors of this Earth. It is as innocent as we once was. There is in this Earth, an inherent vulnerability. We however, are not innocent.

With great power comes great responsibility.

And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” - Genesis 3:22

Who I wonder, came promising eternal life? Might it be Lucifer? We know him as Jesus. Both are described as "Morning Star". Both are cast as revealers, bringers of knowledge and enlightenment. I do not think it is coincidence.

I don't know. What I do know is that innocence without knowing is vulnerability. As animals are vulnerable to our knowledge.
