Power is in itself the problem. Doesn't matter if its Christ or Satan wielding it.

The nature of power itself is destructive and dangerous. Power itself wins. Power corrupts.

We have to throw the Ring of Power into Mount Doom, meaning we have to extinguish in ourselves the desire to dominate and rule our fellow man and also the nature and the planet. But also we have to extinguish in ourselves the tendency to accept being dominated and ruled by desires. There will always be the temptation of power, we can't be naive about it.

So a peaceful state of anarchy wherein cooperation exists but the power structures we currently have comes to an end. At this point, wisdom rather than desire would have to become our guide to the future.

Can we become wise? I don't know. I have hope.
