I completely agree.

I cannot change the world, but I have changed myself so the world is changed.

Any meaningful change comes from within ourselves. If we instead try to change the world first, as is the accepted norm, we exert violence upon it.

That is not love, and therefore it leads to further confusion.

I tried to change the world once. I tried to "save" it. I was angry with it.

I was very stupid and hateful, once.

I didn't know it then but it is apparent now.
