It is a funny thing, that has me a little curious. Why are the "demons" to me, more interesting than the "angels"? The angels are good, kind, loveable.

Safe, but oh so boring. The demons on the other hand, are more about power, wealth, control etc. They are more interesting - more fun.

Angels are like bland food, which you know are good for you. A green leaf salad. But demons are more like a spicy chili con carne. You know its gonna hurt, but its a very tasty meal.

Of course, all the demons and angels are a part of my psyche. I can have salad one day, but I can choose to have a chili con carne when it is right to have so.

A balanced diet, promotes health. As long as one have self-control.

There is a fundamental difference between being ruled by Mammon, and using Mammon.

If the goal is self-mastery, then one must master all of the primal forces within. These forces are like a tornado, really. One can imagine the demonic and angelic forces as the winds, swirling around in a tornado.

As long as one is caught up in the winds, they pummel you and toss you around relentlessly. But if one finds oneself at the eye of the storm, it is quiet.

Calm.

One can watch it all.

Detached from it.

So find the eye of the storm within yourself.

Who is it that is looking through it?
