I once had this experience: Asking deeply, what is "Nothing" led me to understand that what absolute nothing truly is, is consciousness itself.

Therefore there is no point in trying to understand consciousness. We cannot understand it, AI cannot understand it, nothing can understand it. Because it does not "exist" as a thing to understand. The old ones described it as the formless that gives rise to form.

One must therefore try instead to understand what exists within the "nothing" of consciousness, which is everything. What is also apparent, is that because the "Nothing" is "Everything" and you are part of Everything, you are also "Nothing".

Then it is seen that this world, this universe, this reality is in fact you.

Everyone you have hurt, everyone you have helped - you.

That is the understanding which gives birth to morality and ethics. But without the understanding, morality and ethics may seem like a set of rules.

Imposed upon us. With the understanding, they are a way of being which feels natural and right.
