Today's dream journal entry.
Incredibly vivid dream tonight. Planes and buildings, crawling through crawlspaces, balancing acts, huge heights and danger. Taking care of some children. Protector. Huge spider, cat in an abandoned rooftop apartment, a guy used to live there. mangy old affectionate dog, hungry, looked like cocker spaniel terrier mix, workers tools, wooden floors in plane, reconstruction work. Jumped against a metal net, covering an open wall. Net caught me, prevented falling. Daredevil stuff there. For fun? one kid Downs, handicapped. Knocked her head on a concrete ledge, inside a building, I was sitting on a beam getting them out of a basket elevator, big fall below. Fear of falling. Some party before all of this, suit. Ballroom. Still was in the protector role. Handicapped kid sleeping, in a bed, in a modern house. She is alone there, parents had sex, drinking at the party and came home late. Grass, lawn. A deck outside the house. One story house.
Very life like. Better recall. More details remembered. Not perfect recall. Progress. Mind is constructing worlds, stories. More solid centre in this one? Was definitly someone. But still, unfolding story. No owner of the story. Can recall what it is like to become lucid now. How it happens. Not dangerous. Yes time is slowing down in the dream. But still a dream. Volatile, changing. Lucid dream as potent as my imagination is. Spontaneous thoughts, expectations change the dream, even while lucid. Co-creator. Often drastically, but somehow seamlessly. Wasn't lucid, but can recall how being lucid is. Strange. Why? Have I been lucid before? Dreams seem to be unmanaged imagination, unsupervised, Spontaneous.
Immediately opened multi-journal and entered everything I could recall upon waking. That immediacy matters for improving dream recall.
