The timeless moment

Sometimes, this immense and overwhelming feeling hits me. "I exist". "I am". Most people know they exist, but not everyone understands the implications. This timeless moment which we exist within and which we therefore are, has no beginning and no end. That is our nature. That is you and me. In truth, there is no "you and me", except as an illusion of separation. There's only one existence, one moment, one universe, one being, one God. We should not be afraid of our own timeless nature. It is illogical. It is who we are and there is no running from ourselves. So.. Is it so terrifying? I don't think so. I sometimes ask myself quietly, "What do you want from me? What is my purpose?", directed at nothing in particular. The answer is always "You're doing it". This life was never my own. It was never about me, achieving all my dreams and desires as I once believed. I sometimes feel like I write because I must. I don't know the reach of my words, but still I write.
