Imagination creates a possible future, which we sometimes pursue. In that sense, imagination is like the carrot dangled before us. So, imagination is a creative force. Nothing in this human world of ours would exist, if someone hadn't first imagined it.

As for the natural world... I do not know where the imagination to create that, originated. But perhaps it was some sort of imagination also. It seems to me that what is true at the human level, must in some sense also be true on the cosmic level (As above, so below).

An "alien" imagination, which we are a part of, and in turn expresses itself through us. Although when we express it, it seems familiar and known. "Just our imagination". And we fail to recognise that we also, are a part of a creative process, an expression of a greater imagination than ours, which also expresses itself through us.

When I say "me", I can either speak of the "human being" which I am, or I can speak of the totality of things. That "alien imagination" which created the natural world, though I do not consciously control it, is also "me". And you.
