A strategically placed camera, surveillance, statistics, predictions, propaganda, even the TV shows that tell us "this way of living is normal".

Is it a concerted effort to keep our thoughts pacified? Because what would happen if our thoughts were free? Would we see capitalism for what it is? Would we imagine entirely new ways of managing society? Would power over us be lost?
