Law of Polarity

The hermetic "Law of Polarity" which basically says that "everything has two sides or poles, and these opposing forces are essentially two aspects of the same thing", in essence states that "If the truth is inside" as is claimed by much philosophy and perennial wisdom, then "The outside world is complete bullshit".

It is essentially aspects of the same thing, because the truth needs the lie to be truth, and the lie needs the truth to be lie.

And that doesnt sound so strange because this world is absolutely mired in fuckery. If the world feels absolutely insane to you right now, you're not crazy.

What I expressed above is also found in the concept of "Maya" from Hinduism, which states that the outside world is an illusion (bullshit), or a dream - while the inside, the self, is the ultimate reality (truth).

Or in Christianity, Jesus often spoke about the world as being of the flesh, of sin, or of the devil, a domain of illusion and temptation that blinds people to the kingdom within. He pointed again and again to the inner world: “The kingdom of God is within you.” Not out there in the noise, but in the still, quiet centre.

Same message, different language.

The outer world is the distraction.

The inner world is the real.

Perhaps I should stop giving a shit.

Perhaps not.

Who knows.
