I am

Every life form embodies a distinct sense of "I", a fundamental self-awareness. Whether a horse, a fly, or a weed, each perceives itself as an individual entity – a "me" within the grand tapestry of existence. Although they may not express this awareness in words, their experience of "being" is no less valid or profound.

This sense of "I'ness" is a cornerstone of existence, inherent to all life. Though unique in its individual expressions, the essence of this self-perception is universally shared. Your "I'ness" differs from mine in form, yet in essence, it remains the same.

When one grasps this profound unity, the interconnectedness of all existence becomes clear. There is no true separation – all life forms are threads in the intricate web of the universe, breathing life into its vast expanse. The "I'ness" permeates the cosmos, underpinning all existence.

Death, then, does not signify the end of this "I'ness". Rather, it marks a transition – a change in the form, not the essence, of this shared awareness. The 'I'ness continues, persistent and unending, echoing through the ages in the heart of the cosmos.

I believe, some call this "God".

"I am that which I am"

There is not a living thing on this planet or indeed in this universe one cannot call "brother" or "sister". The great "I am" unites us. God is me, but I am not God.
