Freedom from desire

To be free of desire, to want nothing beyond what is there, is what freedom is.

To be content in this moment.

People sometimes find it in nature, away from society. They find it watching a beautiful sunset. They find it while listening to music. They find it while doing physical exercise. Any time people become fully immersed in this moment, having no regard for the past and no worries about the future, they become free, flowing with the moment without resistance or objection.

Our desires and our attachments causes our suffering, as Buddhists has been saying for a long time now.

So how can one be free of desire?

How does one become free of attachment?

Honestly, I don't know.

Sometimes it just happens.

Usually, in the moment.
