Either you control nothing, or you control everything. Either you are controlled by the world, or you control the world.

Many videos on YouTube today go into the specific techniques for "creating your reality". Whether it be manifestation videos teaching the Law of Attraction, or it is Gnostic interpretations about doing miracles like Jesus, all of them try to sell you on the idea that you can create your reality.

The problem? Imagine for a second that you "manifest" the following: "Today I am going to meet a beautiful girl, who will be into me". A normal thing, people "manifest" for. But to do so, you would not only control what you consider to be yourself. You would also be controlling the beautiful girl. Her choices, her life would be under your influence. She would not make an independent choice to go to the place where you would meet her. It would be your doing, not hers.

And if you were to control her actions like that, you would have to control every little factor of her life that lead her to being just there, on that day. Perhaps it was supposed to rain that day, and she would stay inside, but you controlled it and it did not, so she went outside.

So now you control the weather. And to control the weather, you must also control the planet. All of it, from the smallest eco system that creates oxygen to the industrial pollution that changes the weather patterns. So now you control the Earth itself.

And to control the Earth, you must also control the Sun, and the Galaxy, and the Universe as a whole.

All that, just to make a girl appear in your life just when you want her to.

So if manifestation is real, you are omnipotent. You are also alone, because everything is part of you, and subject to your will. There is no true "other", and all is your very own self.

Lets for a moment take it seriously. Perhaps it is true, that you are omnipotent, and that you can manifest your reality (you already do, the world exists as manifestation). But how does one do such a thing? To orchestrate events in such a way that the outcome aligns with expectation?

I have heard many theories. All of them have something in common. They are very intricate, convoluted and have to be practiced for a very long time in order to work. It's all very "difficult to master".

But what if the truth is easier than that. What if it is as easy as breathing.

If one looks at Genesis, creation is plainly described. "God said: 'Let there be light', and there was light". No woo. No technique. Just speaking what is to become, as a command.

What if your word is law (Where does that saying come from? "Your word is law"? It is from the "Divine Right of Kings") and you simply have to say what you want to happen out loud, and then believe with absolute conviction that it will be so, and hold on to that conviction until it has become?

I invoke the "Divine Right of Kings" here to illustrate that there exists linguistical clues that hint at the power of the word. Speaking reality into being, is the divine right. But it does not belong only to kings, excepting that all are kings. And Jesus is King, is he not? It is also said, "Jesus lives in you". So who is king?

To do so, one would need to be the sovereign authority in ones own life. One would have to reject all outside authority. Even God's authority over you, whatever you imagine him to be because if God is "out there in the world", then the world rules you and you control nothing. In gaining sovereign authority over yourself, you would control something. And if you control something, as we already established, you control everything. You simply cannot have "a little control". Its all or nothing.

But one needs to go down the road of anarchy, until one becomes the sovereign authority in oneself and have rejected every other authority in ones life because at that point you control yourself. And when you control yourself, you do not control nothing. When you control something, you control everything - because reality is one.

What would such control look like?

A simple thing really. "It will be alright". No matter what goes on in the world, if one as creator holds on to the conviction "It will be alright", it will be. You can not micro-manage the world. But you can shepherd it. "It will be alright" uses the same creative structure as "Let there be light". There is an expectation inherent in it. A certainty. That certainty, I think, is the key. Because only if one speaks as authority, can one have that certainty.

And most importantly. "It will be alright" preserves the autonomy of everyone else, despite your control. It preserves "free will", such as it is. “It will be alright” works because it does not specify outcomes. It does not summon a person, a job, a weather pattern. It establishes a boundary condition for meaning. Whatever happens must pass through that certainty, but it is not forced into a particular shape. That’s why free will survives. Others still choose, act, fail, surprise. But the sum-total of the universe must comply with my command:

"It will be alright".

How does one come by such authority? That inner authority is fired up by years and years of shedding internalized narratives of outside control. It is fired up by understanding reality deeply. Not as it appears, but as it is. It is not an easy thing to come by such authority. But everyone uses it. Some use it to give up their control. Others, to claim it. But all use it. The world has been designed by those who know, to persuade those who don't to give up their power to them. A story about the necessity of a new war hits the news, and people think "Yes, the other side is the enemy". In that instant, they are co-creators of war. But they are not aware of it. Authority can not be undermined, but control can. By your own doubt. "Surely I am not the power behind the universe itself?"

Your attention and your conviction is wielded and even manufactured by someone. You should be aware of that. The most valuable resource on the planet isn't oil, gold, or data. It is your very own human certainty. And your very own doubt, which must be maintained and manufactured by suppression of truth, if reality is to be micro-managed by some.. actors.. rather than being shepherded.

But.. "It will be alright".
