Its funny how the people who lean towards authoritarianism as an ideology, are striving to create a society in which they themselves do not actually want to live and exist.

They simply want others to be disciplined, governed, ruled and micromanaged by the authorities. They want others to not have any liberties because the liberties of others interfere with their own.

Somehow, they think that they themselves are exempt from all of this.

They themselves, are to be the rulers. The ones in charge.

How sorely disappointed they will be, if they succeed in bringing such a society about. When they themselves, find themselves without basic freedom.

The notion of exemption is a fantasy that collapses as soon as the machinery of control grows larger than the individuals who created it.
