So here is another principle of magick, which most people use, though they dont know it as magick.

The world can be, but is not a mirror. You too, can be, but are not a mirror. If one part is a mirror, the other is not. You need to be the light that is reflected.

Consider this: If someone tells you that you are ugly, you over time accept this and internalize it. You are in essence a mirror for the world. You become what the world wants you to become. And your life becomes only as good as the world is. You become as damaged as the world is. You internalize the world.

Now consider the other scenario: The world says "You are ugly" but you say "No, I am most definitely not". If you persist in this certainty, that you are not in fact ugly, then you become beautiful and the world will begin mirroring you rather than the other way around. The world internalizes you.

In this way we can shape the world around us. It takes a strong individual to do it.

To master the world, we must first master ourselves. If we do not, then.. the racism, bigotry, greed and hatred of the world will become our racism, bigotry, greed and hatred and we can only be as healthy as the world is. To be a positive change in the world we must be better than the world.

Most people never discover their own power, and while all of us are playing the game most people do not know the rules. Most people dont even know there are rules, just drifting along. Is it any wonder mental illness is prevalent when most people aren't even being their authentic selves?

The people who start wars, knows this. The people of advertising knows this. The people who owns the media knows this. The "elite" knows this and have known for generations. For them, it is passed down knowledge and simply how the world works. They actively use this knowledge to shape the world in their image.

You need to know this also. These things are as real as gravity.
