In order to properly align oneself with the will of God, one have to be free. Completely and authentically oneself.

This means conquering even the fear of Hell and damnation.

God did not create slaves. Nor would he demand we contort ourselves into something we are not.

If I am a good man solely because of the threat of hell, I am not a good man. It is better I be an honest bad man, than a dishonest good man.
